Penerangan kepada yang berminat untuk menilai.

Petikan dari forum bicarajutawan.com:

Salam.

P/S: Aku ni masuk kategori miskin ker kaya pon aku tak tau. Aku rasa hidup aku OK jer tak menyusahkan orang. Jadik mampuih la orang nak kata apa pon...

Jadi lain kali kalau kita pi siam, jom kita borong sakan... Aku terjumpa artikel ni:

Rabbits Are One of the Most Popular Pets in Thailand, Here's How to Buy a Healthy

OneSurprisingly, rabbits are one of the most popular pets in Thailand. Many Thai girls (or their boyfriends!) buy rabbits, and so do some of the expats who live here. Thousands of rabbits are sold every month at markets all over Thailand. I bought two rabbits last year at one of the local markets. From my experiences buying a rabbit in Bangkok, Thailand, I've learned the best places to buy a rabbit and also what not to do when you buy a rabbit. These tips will help you have the best possible experience buying a rabbit in Thailand and will also, hopefully, make sure you end up with a healthy and happy rabbit.

1. Don't buy a rabbit on the street - Every night on hundreds of streets in Bangkok and in the rest of the country, you will see little stalls set up with rabbit breeders selling rabbits. These rabbits are squashed into tiny cages, or perched on the top of them and tied with a string around their necks so they don't fall off. They're often wearing little dresses (which I think is an incredibly cruel thing to do to a defenseless rabbit), and they sit there for hours breathing in the poisonous fumes from the horrendous traffic in Bangkok. I made the mistake of buying a rabbit from one such breeder (primarily because I felt so sorry for the little thing, stuffed into a teeny tiny cage and wearing a little pink tutu). The rabbit I bought was sick from the minute I got it and it died less than a week later. Thai friends have told me they have had similar experiences, so don't buy a rabbit from a street stall.

2. Make sure you know what sex the rabbit is - As much as Thais are incredibly nice people, you can't always trust sellers when they tell you about an item they're selling. Case in point, don't let them sex a rabbit for you. I bought two rabbits at Chatuchak Weekend Market and asked the
breeder what sex they were. She was adamant they were two boys so I bought them. Five months later, I had two new arrivals - I didn't know two males could mate and produce babies! Make sure if you buy a rabbit in Thailand, you either sex the rabbit yourself or take a friend who can do it for you. Sexing a baby rabbit is very difficult but, especially if you're buying more than one, it's important to be sure what sex the rabbits are.

3. Buying rabbits at a Thai market - Many rabbit breeders in Thailand sell their rabbits at local markets. At Chatuchak Weekend Market there are probably more than 50 rabbit breeders selling rabbits. Make sure, though, if you buy a rabbit at any local market in Thailand, you walk around first and check out all the rabbit breeders. If their shops are dirty and the rabbits don't look well taken care of, or if there are many rabbits stuffed into one tiny cage, you can guarantee they have not been taken care of back at the breeding farm either. Only buy from a rabbit breeder at a Thai market that has a clean shop, clean cages, offers to sell you (or give you) good quality rabbit food and doesn't pressure you too much to purchase.

4. Buy from a breeder who knows about rabbits - Surprisingly, many rabbit breeders in Thailand don't always know much about rabbits. The woman I bought from gave me bad information about the sex of my rabbits but she did have some good advice about which cage to buy, what food was best, she knew about Timothy hay, what rabbit food is healthy and sizes of food portions etc. A lot of the breeders at markets in Thailand don't speak much English, but they will usually speak enough that they can tell you a little bit about the rabbit you want to buy and what you should feed it. If they don't, move on to a rabbit breeder that does.

5. Prices for rabbits in Thailand - The price of rabbits in Thailand does differ quite a bit. You can buy them from some Thai market breeders for as cheap as 100 baht (around US $3). My recommendation though is to pay a little bit more as, from personal experience, the cheaper ones don't tend to live very long. I paid 250 baht (US $7.35), which is quite expensive in Thailand, for each of mine. I've had them now for almost a year and they're just as healthy as the day I bought them.

6. Buying a rabbit cage and rabbit toys in Thailand - Once you've picked out and bought a rabbit, you will also need to buy a cage, food and water dishes, and rabbit toys. Thailand is very cheap for all of these items. I spent 300 baht (US $8.85) on my first rabbit cage and it housed two
rabbits nicely for the first six months until they outgrew it. My current cage is an enormous metal cage with a removable tray at the bottom to easily clean the poop. It nicely houses four large rabbits with lots of room to spare. I paid 600 baht (US $17.70) for it. I also bought a large, foldable metal pen for 400 baht (US $11.75), which I have unfolded in my living room so my rabbits get a lot of running space. Many markets in Thailand sell rabbit cages and rabbit supplies and they're very inexpensive. There are also a few
pet shops here, but they are few and far between and are expensive. The little pet shops at the local markets are the best and, if you're in Bangkok, Chatuchak Market has many pet shops that sell rabbit supplies.

7. If you're wary about buying a rabbit, check with a Thai vet - If you're still not sure if where you're planning on buying a rabbit from is reputable, you can also check with a Thai vet. Most of them will be able to give you the name and address of a breeder although, if you're in Bangkok, make sure they're close to where you live. Bangkok is huge and you don't want to have to travel for two hours in a taxi to get the rabbit and then two more hours home, accompanied by a freaked out rabbit in a cage.Overall, use some common sense when you think about buying a rabbit in Thailand. Don't believe everything the seller tells you and don't buy at the first rabbit breeders you see. Shop around a bit before you make your decision. Buying a rabbit in Thailand though, can be a lot of fun. Just please make sure, before you buy a rabbit, that you really want one. Too many Thai girls buy rabbits and, after a few weeks, have either managed to kill them from neglect or have passed them onto a local zoo because they don't want them any more. Please don't do the same thing. It's cruel.

JANGAN BELI ARNAB UMUR BAWAH 2 BULAN

... or you will learn the hard way.
Masuk internet terus research on the symptom tu. Ingatkan dia still berehat, tapi lama-lama dia tak bergerak langsung. Dah ajal rupanya... sedih, sedih. Tak sangka boleh rasa sedih sangat bila kenangkan dia ni la yang selalu happy sangat sambut saya balik dari kerja selama ni.

Masa saya research semalam, ramai sebenarnya yang menghadapi situasi yang sama sebab tak tahu dan terbeli anak arnab umur kurang 8 minggu. Ada setengah tu, bila baby arnab dah mati, terus kecewa, jual sangkar, jual semua peralatan dan tak nak bela arnab lagi. Dah ler arnab mati, rasa sedih, kalau arnab mahal dah rugi duit, tambah lagi rasa berdosa.. tergugat emosi siol! Walaubagaimanapon, kita wajib belajar... JANGAN BELI ATAU JUAL ARNAB UMUR BAWAH 8 MINGGU.

PEMBIAKAN ARNAB

Source http://agrolink.moa.my/jph/dvs/booklets/a-to-z/arnab.html
Nota: Ni sebahagian jer dari artikel penuh sebab sebahagiannyer lagi tak beberapa setuju dgn maklumat yang diberikan.

BAGAIMANAKAH CARA MENGAHWINKAN ARNAB ?

BUNTING PALSU
BAGAIMANAKAH MENGESAN BUNTING PALSU ?

MASA MENYUSU ANAK
BILAKAH MASA IBU ARNAB MENYUSUKAN ANAKNYA ?

CERAI SUSU
BILAKAH UMUR ANAK-ANAK ARNAB PERLU DICERAI SUSU ?

Instructional Video - How to bath a rabbit

Cuba la korang bayang kan hair dryer panas sebesar serombong kapal dok tala kat bontot korang... mau tak berak sebulan. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Liohead Rabbit

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE LIONHEAD RABBIT

There are some differences of opinions on exactly where and just how the beautiful LIONHEAD RABBIT originated. Below are two most commonly held theories/opinions.

The first thought is they originated in Belgium in a litter of bunnies that was the result of the crossbreeding of the Swiss Fox and a Belgian Dwarf. Then crosses to a smaller wool type breed was also included in the crossbreeding. Some sources list the Jersey Wooly but its probably the Dwarf Angora (in the USA we have no Dwarf Angora so the name Jersey Wooly was added here) Later the breed was imported into England where continued crossbreeding of small breed rabbits and additional wool breeds were made. This crossbreeding made in Europe and in England created the current EUROPEAN LIONHEAD RABBIT. The another opinion is that it did not originate in Belgium and that the Jersey Wooly had nothing to do with the making of the Lionhead breed. In this opinion it is thought that when European breeders were working on theDwarf Angora the Lionhead mutation occurred in a litter of bunnies and was accidentally spread throughout the Dwarf Angora Breed. This gene did create a problem for the Dwarf Angora breed as it restricted the wool on theback and sides of the rabbit. In Europe a number of attempts were made to set the trait and establish a newbreed often called the Tete De Lion. All these attempts failed except for a small "pet market".

What we do know is that the Lionhead mutation is the first major mutation in rabbits since the early 1900's when Satin fur first appeared in a litter of Havana's. The gene that causes the mane seems to be a dominant mutation which means that only one parent is required to have the "mane gene" to produce more LIONHEADS. In that way it is unlike any of the other fur mutations in rabbits which have all been recessive genes. This also makes the Lionhead Rabbit unlike any of the other "new breeds" of recent years in that it cannot be recreated using other breeds.

Sometime during the early years, the LOP EARED gene was added to the mix, creating the Lop Eared Lionhead. In Europe, both versions of Lionheads - lop eared and erect eared - are currently being bred. In February of 2002 , the British Rabbit Council officialrecognized the erect eared version of the Lionhead Rabbit. When the breed was recognized in England by the British Rabbit Council approved the Lionhead Rabbit in all recognized colors (sixty approved colors) and it is approved in all markedpatterns and their varieties. ,

Note:

We just manage to get ourselve a pair of purebred lionhead. It's gonna be fun. Yeay!!!! Of course the above pictures are from the champs and they are all highly well groomed. We got two babies and the parent are purebred and match all the characteristic. The babies are still young and the fur has not fully developed yet. Here are the pics (its a bit dark bcoz its late night and i dont wanna use the flash will scare them):
